WORLD BOOK DAY (APRIL 23^rd 2015)

BOOKMARK DESIGN CONTEST

 ð   Do you love to read, write and draw? Do you have a favourite author, story or positive message about reading? Get creative and design your own bookmark. Share your work with friends, family and fellow students. Promote reading and of course – keep on reading!

 ð Use coloured pencils, pens, paints and markers to design an original bookmark with illustrations and words. Winning designs will become printed bookmarks. They’ll be available to everyone and you’ll find them at our Library and featured on the IES Benjamín de Tudela Website Web site.

RULES and GUIDELINES:

 ð Design an original Bookmark. Entries must be original. Using copyrighted images or texts is not allowed.

 ð CATEGORIES: ESO Grades 1-2;  ESO Grades 3-4;  Bachillerato Grades 1-2. Only one entry per student allowed.

 ð Write your full name and year (ESO 1, 2, 3, 4...) / group on the back of the bookmark.

 ð Contestants should submit a full colour design on one side of heavyweight/card stock paper. (Finished Bookmark size is 5 x 18 cm)

 ð Free technique. (Collage, Illustrations, Snapshots, etc).Entries will be judged for originality, neatness, spelling and printability.

 ðThe words ‘IES Benjamín de Tudela’ and a short text  (promoting Reading) must appear on the front of the bookmark.

 ðEntries will be judged by the English Language Department teachers.

 ð The winners of the contestwill receive some books and will have their bookmarks printed and distributed.

 ð Deadline: March 27^th 2015^.  Hand your finished bookmark to your English teacher.
